Cranberry Balsamic Burger with Mushroom Patties

Instead of a traditional holiday dish, try something new this year! A burger shouldn't just be for the summer, try this Cranberry Balsamic Burger using Mushroom Patties.

Ingredients:

1 package of Shroomeats Mushroom Patties

2 handfuls of arugula

1 cup cranberry sauce

3/4 cup balsamic vinegar

2 slices of preferred brie cheese

1 tbsp of preferred butter

2 tbsp olive oil

Salt & pepper to taste

2 buns


Cooking Instructions:

  1. Heat skillet on medium with balsamic vinegar and cranberry sauce. Mix well and simmer.
  2. In a separate skillet, melt butter and add Shroomeats Patties with salt and pepper to taste. Cook on medium to high heat for 6-8 minutes or until browned, flip and repeat. 
  3. Add 2-3 tbsp of the balsamic cranberry sauce to the patties. Flip and repeat.
  4. Add brie cheese to Mushroom Patties and let it melt.
  5. Toast the buns in a toaster or on a skillet.
  6. Assemble the burger; place the bottom part of the bun on a plate, add balsamic cranberry sauce, and a handful of arugula. Place the Mushroom Patty, add more sauce, and add the top part of the bun.
